Vichy Normaderm

So, my first blog post is going to be a review on a skincare line I am currently using, that I am verrry pleased with!

See, I have normal to combination skin, like a lot of ladies do, with my problem areas being mostly my forehead, nose and chin.  My skin has never been problematic to be honest, except for the occasional zit, and the mandatory breakouts most of us have had during our teenage years (those times are long gone thank god, I am 24 now).

A few months ago, I noticed that I had started to get pimples and small nasty bumps on my forehead and skin.  Maybe you’re thinking ok, so it’s not a big problem, but ladies let me tell you.  Redness we can hide, discoloration we can hide, but those ugly little things that pop right out of your skin, nothing can hide.  It’s a matter of texture, and not the heaviest coverage foundation can cover that.

So in comes, Vichy Normablend.  This is a wonderful line, affordable, clean-smelling, and it works!  It had my face all cleared up in a couple of weeks.  For the first month or so I used two times daily (morning and night) these three products:

  • Vichy Normaderm Deep Cleansing Gel
  • Vichy Normaderm 3 in 1 Unclogging Purifying Toner
  • Vichy Normaderm Pro Mat Ultra-Matyfying Oil-Free Lotion SPF15 (mine was in a white packaging though, I think, I run out now and haven’t bought a new one yet)

You can find more details, ingredients, etc at:

All of these products were under 15 euros each (I live in Greece at the moment, and got them at a pharmacy) which is quite affordable when it comes to good skincare products!

Now I have to say, I don’t use the Toner daily anymore, as it can feel a bit drying at times.  My skin has been pretty clear for the past weeks, and I only use it when I feel my face has been acting too greasy, when I see zits popping up, or when I’ve out all day and feel that I need that extra bit of squeaky cleanliness.

So I really do recommend this line, for ladies with oily skin that tends to get worse especially as summer is approaching.

As a last note, I have seen some bad reviews on these, which I think stem from the wrong people using it.  This is not for people with dry/normal skin!  Also, I would not recommend this to anyone with severe acne.  Many times, these sort of products will just aggravate severe acne instead of making it go away!  For people with a more serious problem, I would definitely suggest a visit to a dermatologist or sites such as !

P.S. This of course wasn’t sponsored, do I really need to mention that?  No idea!   I’m a bit of a rookie here, bear with me. 🙂
